The  BPM Kinetic Recliner

A therapy chair to improve circulation, promote relaxation and reduce daily stress.

A SIMPLE MOTION-  PROFOUND EFFECTS

A Different Kind of Healing

The BPM Recliner provides a simple motion for the individual that raises & lowers the head and feet at approximately 5.83 Hz.  This motion of the blood flow repeatedly from heat to foot has profound effects for those areas.  Watch the video testimonials & see these effects for yourself!

Designed for Heart Disease & Circulation

Ed Phillips began the research and development of Blood Pressure Modulation Therapy in 1998 when he was diagnosed with severe heart disease.  He resisted the doctor's recommendation for drugs and invasive therapy.  Instead, he developed the Blood Pressure Modulation Concept, which he applied to himself.

Designed for Parkinson's & Neuropathy Patients

Blood Pressure Modulation is an advanced treatment for patients with Parkinson's.  Patients experience significant reduction of most symptoms after a single treatment.  Regular use benefits are even more dramatic.  Patients have also found that many medications can be reduced or even eliminated.

Ed Phillips- Inventor

Ed Phillips was a unique individual.  Working in the Industrial engineering fields, he personally held over 100 patents and had worked for Hewlett Packard for a number of years. Shorty after he retired, he was diagnosed with severe heart disease in his sixties, he had limited mobility & could barely drive a car!

Finding little success with traditional treatments of medications, he searched for alternative methods.  Waking up one morning, he repeatedly lifted his legs to get out of bed and he felt noticeably better for a few minutes.  He then repeated this every morning and he felt better, but why?  He further improved on this curious finding by building a strange looking machine that had ropes & pulleys attached to his ankles and hands.  He continued to improve & even started exercising regularly.  He later improved on the design, getting rid of the ropes & pulleys, and several upgrades later........ the Kinetic Recliner was born!

What Is The BPM Kinetic Recliner?

The Kinetic Recliner is a simple device that uses gravity by rocking the body back and forth.  This sends the blood from the feet to the head and back again repeatedly.  This rhythmic motion (Patented) at a specific frequency improves overall circulation but the effect to the head and feet are profoundly unique.

Points of Interests

Where are the recliners made?

These units have been manufactured in Sterling Heights Michigan USA.  They are designed for medical use, but sadly, did not make it through the final stages of hospital use. It would be ideal to get them into the hands of health practitioners nationwide.

What is the weight capacity of the unit?

These units are designed for a subject weight of up to 1000 lbs.  The worm geared box and solid construction can easily handle people from all walks of life.  High grade components also ensure long service life for the recliners.  Most parts are custom made in the USA, as a matter of fact, I have only seen 1 part that is made in China, that's unheard of!

Can I get a recliner?

This is a difficult question to answer, which is, maybe! BPM is not our primary business.  I own a small company and my work schedule times vary, but if you live within 500 miles of Detroit Michigan, then the delivery and set up are much less challenging.  The only way of knowing is to call so we can find out the circumstances.  We have made cross country trips for deliveries, but it does get expensive.

Can I get a recliner delivered to me?

The answer to this question is yes.  However, the recliner comes in two sections: the top support & the base.  Both are relatively heavy and require freight shipping.  Assembly isn't too complicated, 3 bolts, 2 screws but the top half is heavy & needs to be lined up with the base.  The cushions use velcro to fasten and furniture movers are recommended.

How many recliners are available?

As of March 2024, there are currently 55 units available.  It is highly unlikely that any more will be produced, but never say never.

Will any more units be made?

Sadly, only one production run of 100 was produced for these units.  It is doubtful that any more will be made unless the public demands more.  Even then, to keep the price of the recliners reasonable, a separate funding source would have to be adopted such as a GoFundMe page.  The estimated cost would be roughly $275,000 per 100 units.  That doesn't include assembly or marketing or general business costs.  I'm not saying it's impossible, but it is doubtful.
